| In the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,illustrations are an important part of the teaching materials.The quality of the illustrations in the teaching materials has an important influence on both the teaching of teachers and the learning of students.On the one hand,the illustrations in the textbook can attract the attention of learners,activate the entire layout,and stimulate learners’ interest in learning;on the other hand,they can make the teacher’s explanations easier for learners to understand and absorb.However,there are still some problems with the illustrations in the existing Chinese textbooks for foreigners.Therefore,the author believes that it is necessary to investigate and study the illustrations in the current Chinese textbooks,which are more influential and widely applicable.This paper is divided into five parts.The first chapter introduces the definition of illustrations,the research status of illustrations at home and abroad,and the purpose,content and methods of this paper.Chapter 2 analyzes the present situation of illustrations in 9 volumes of the HSK Standard Course from two aspects of the number and type of illustrations,and points out some problems in the illustrations of the existing textbooks according to the statistical results.The third chapter,combined with the illustrations in the HSK standard course series,designed two sets of questionnaires for teachers and Chinese learners to understand the views and suggestions of teachers and students on the illustrations of the textbook.Then the results of the questionnaire were analyzed by SPSS software.Chapter 4:The author makes a comprehensive survey of illustration statistics and questionnaire survey results,and puts forward some suggestions on the shortcomings of illustrations in the series of HSK Standard course.The fifth chapter summarizes this paper and points out the shortcomings of this paper.According to the study,the author finds that the illustrations in the HSK Standard Tutorial mainly have the following problems:(1)from the point of view of the arrangement style,the illustrations are not well arranged,the proportion of each part of the illustrations is uneven,and the form is relatively single;(2)from the point of view of the content of the illustrations,the inconsistency of the graphic and text content is the biggest problem,in addition,the illustrations lack the necessary written instructions,and the significance is low;(3)from the external form,the layout of the illustrations is small,resulting in the picture blurred and difficult to recognize.In view of these problems,the author carries on the questionnaire survey to the teacher and the student respectively,according to the questionnaire result,the author puts forward the corresponding suggestion from the illustration content design,the illustration arrangement style and the illustration teaching suggestion and so on. |
