Textbooks are always playing an important role in Chinese teaching. As an important grammatical point in the teaching of Chinese as a foreign language,it's related to their learning that whether they have a good command of it or not. Therefore, based on the Chinese Tutorial(Revision)Book 2,we try to find out the shortage and put forward some corresponding suggestions after doing statistical analysis of imperative sentences in the textbook, aiming to provide ideas about teaching and textbook compiling. There are five parts in my paper. The first part is about the significance, methods and the content of this paper. And the second one is about the definition and structures of imperative sentences.Especially,we illustrate this grammatical point from subject, predicate, voice and tense, kinds, polite expressions, modal particle and intonation. Then I study the repetition distribution in the textbook.According to the structures,we do statistical analysis, make the summary of advantages and disadvantages, and put forward the advice in the third part.Well,in the fourth part,I put forward some proposal aiming at the use of the textbook. Here I firstly combine some relevant theories to carry out the course design, then put forward the specific teaching process, and provide reference for the practice of grammar points. Finally, here comes my conclusion. This paper holds that the linguistic context, problem sets and interpretation are rich. However, the number of imperative sentences and communicative training projects are not enough.Furthermore, parts of the interpretation are too complex. So we should increase the numbers of them and simplify the interpretation. It's also suggested that color printing should be used to makes students learn better.
