A Study Of Reduplicated Words In ChuCi

The study of special books is the basis of the study of Chinese vocabulary history.This paper takes reduplicated words in the Chu Ci as the research subject,analyzes the characteristics of the reduplicated words,explores the law of its development and evolution,in order to provide some basis for the future semantic research of Chu Ci and provide relevant reference materials for lexicography compilation and revision.Under the guidance of exegesis,lexicology,semantics and other related theories,this paper uses statistical method,document method and comparative method to study the reduplicated words in Chu Ci.First of all,extracted from the original 375 reduplicated words.According to the specific language environment in which reduplicated words appear,this paper analyzes their meanings,classifies them,and selects typical cases with disputable meanings for investigation.Secondly,the paper combs the formation and evolution process of accentuating words as well as the grammaticalized cases of accentuating words in the process of lexical development.Finally,the author takes reduplicated words in the Chu Ci as an example to explore the generation mechanism and the reasons for its wide application.Insist on the principle of combining static description with dynamic analysis.The static description is mainly carried out from three aspects: the semantic relationship between the repeated words and the single words,the relationship between the form of words and the semantics,and the semantic function.There are two kinds of semantic relations between reduplication and words: one is related to words,the other is unrelated to words.The former is divided into three categories: the original meaning of the word is the same as the original meaning of the word,the extended meaning of the word is the same as the original meaning of the word,and the pseudo meaning of the word is the same as the repeated word.In terms of the relationship between morphological form and semantic meaning,the word-form and meaning of reduplicated words are rich and flexible to use.In terms of semantic function,the main functions of reduplicated words are imitation of sound and imitation,which can enhance the expression and appeal of the article.In addition,the paper makes a textual study of the reduplicated words meaning of the case,which is the basic premise of the study of the reduplicated words meaning of the case,and the key step to correctly understand the word meaning.The dynamic analysis mainly focuses on three aspects: word formation,semantic weakening and semantic diachronic evolution.The dynamic investigation of the reduplicated words shows that the inheritance ability of the double-dialects is very low,and nowadays they mostly exist as written languages.Most of the tautologies which have nothing to do with the semantics of a single word remain in the pseudo meaning of a single word,while most of the tautologies which have nothing to do with the semantics of a single word remain in the original meaning and direct extended meaning of a single word.Due to the trend of disyllabization in Chinese,reduplicated words appears weakening in later generations,which is mainly manifested in two aspects: the weakening of synonymy,the weakening of near meaning and the weakening of the extended meaning of reduplicated words.Through case study,it is found that the phenomenon of grammaticalization occurs in the evolution of reduplicated words,which is manifested as the transformation of reduplicated words into adverbs and the semantic vacillation.This is closely related to the grammatical position,frequency of use and the development of human cognition.Based on the investigation of the combination of static and static,this paper takes the repetition of speech in Chu Ci as an example to explore the generation mechanism of repetition of speech,which was initially generated for the need of imitating sound,and then gradually emerged a large number of imitative object repetition of speech.Rhythm is an important mechanism for the generation of reduplicated words.The need for rhythm and semantics in Chu Ci makes reduplicated words widely used in it.
