| Objective(s):1.To investigate the cognitive function,subjective age,social isolation and loneliness of the people over 50 years old in the natural villages of ethnic minorities in Yunnan Province;2.To analyze the correlation between subjective age,social isolation,loneliness and cognitive function;3.To explore the mediating effects of social isolation and loneliness on subjective age and cognitive function.Methods:The Montreal Cognitive Assessment Scale(MoCA),Subjective Age Scale(ADS),Social Isolation Scale(LSNS-6),Loneliness Scale(USL-6)and self-made questionnaires were used to investigate the people aged over 50 in Baoshan City and Dali City of Yunnan Province.A total of 316 valid questionnaires were collected.SPSS22.0 software and Process plugin were used to conduct descriptive statistics,t test,analysis of variance,Mann-Whitney U and Kruskal-Wallis H rank sum test,correlation analysis and mediating effect analysis.Results:1.In this study,the average score of cognitive function of people over 50 years old in ethnic minority villages was(17.78±5.401),and the prevalence of MCI was 43.7%;There were significant differences in cognitive function scores among different genders,ages,marital status,living style,educational level and job nature.2.In this study,74.1%of people were younger in subjective age than actual age;There were significant differences in subjective age among different genders,ages,living styles and educational levels.3.19%of the people in the study were socially isolated;There are significant differences in social isolation among different genders,marital status,living style,educational level and labor nature.4.The median score of loneliness in this study was 3,and the interquartile range was(0,6.75),indicating a low level of overall loneliness.There are significant differences in loneliness among different ages,marital status,living style and educational level..5.The results of this study showed that social isolation played a mediating role in the relationship between subjective age and cognitive function,and loneliness played a mediating role in the relationship between subjective age and cognitive function.6.The results of this study indicate that social isolation and loneliness have a chain mediating effect between subjective age and cognitive function.Conclusion(s):1.The subjects in this study had poor overall cognitive function;2.Subjective age,social isolation and loneliness directly affect cognitive function;3.Social isolation and loneliness mediated the relationship between subjective age and cognitive function,respectively;4.Social isolation and loneliness had a chain mediating effect between subjective age and cognitive function. |
