| Since ecological problems have been related to the survival and development of human beings,it has been necessary to make a research on ecological problems.Pepper’s ecological justice thought just takes the concept of solving ecological crisis as the starting point, and regards the realization of social justice as the basis and premise of ecological justice, which is based on Marxist theory.Through taking the Marxist philosophy as the basic standpoint and the integration of history and logic as the basic principle, this thesis makes a systematic research on Pepper’s ecological justice thought, which focus on the solutions to some social justice problems. Moreover,Peppers conception of ecological socialism has been an important part of his ecological justice thought.Firstly, this thesis makes an elaboration of ecological justice problems from three aspects, including the evolution of "justice" thought and the realistic crisis and value demand of ecological problems. At the same time,it defines the concept of ecological justice, which also distinguishes ecological justice from environmental justice.Secondly,it gives an introduction to the background of Pepper’s ecological justice thought and makes an elaboration for it from three aspects, namely, political background,socio-economic background and theoretical basis.Thirdly,it makes a detailed analysis for the content of Pepper’s ecological justice thought, including Pepper’s criticism of three different traditional ideologies, the conception of a new social form, and his transformation and reform in human-centrism.Among them, the most important part is about Pepper’s conception of ecological socialism, which includes the reform of social and political system, the changes on social and economic development mode and the solution to social poverty problems. In order to realize social justice, these conceptions firstly try to realize ecological justice, which further demonstrates Pepper’s theory—the realization of social justice is the basis and premise of ecological justice. Finally, this thesis dialectically analyzes the limitations and theoretical value of Pepper’s ecological justice thought. It expounds the fact that Pepper’s ecological justice thought still has some difficulties in social practice and the features of Utopia. However, his conception of ecological socialism and transformation of anthropocentrism have some practical meanings. On the one hand,it confirms the initiative and value of human beings and promotes the development of the theoretical research on Marxism to some extent. On the other hand,it also provides some theoretical references for the construction of China’s socialist ecological civilization. In terms of international community,it has some practical meanings, because it can help to deal with relevant ecological crisis. |
