Nestorianism in the Tang Dynasty and then to the Korean Peninsula. As a foreign religion,Christianity was not widely spread in ancient China and the Korean Peninsula, but it has been widely spread in modern times. This is because the theologians of the two countries have made localized reforms of the Christian church and Christian thought. In modern times, foreign missionaries and theologians in China and the Korean Peninsula recognized the importance of the localization of Christianity.Since then,Christianity has begun the process of localization in China and the Korean Peninsula. In this process, both China and the Korean peninsula have produced unique indigenous Christian ideas that are compatible with their own national conditions.Typical examples in China are: ethical theology, eclectic theology, practical theology, etc.;on the Korean peninsula, there are orthodox theological, progressive theological, liberal theology and so on.The focus of this article is to compare the localized Christian thoughts in China and the Korean Peninsula, and then to derive the reasons why the two countries have different characteristics of localized thoughts. This article mainly introduces the background and specific content of the localized Christian thought in China and the Korean Peninsula, and the impact of the two countries’ localized Christian thought on society.Through the above content, the modern localized Christian thought in China and the Korean Peninsula is carried out.Compare.The whole article is divided into five chapters. The first chapter is the introduction.Mainly expounds the purpose and significance of the research,as well as the research status at home and abroad, research methods and innovations. The second part is about the background and comparison of the localized Christian thoughts between China and Korea in modern times. This chapter is divided into three parts. The first part analyzes the background of indigenous Christian thought in modern China. After the Opium War,Christianity began to spread rapidly under the protection of a series of unequal treaties, but it was used as a means of aggression and was hostile by ordinary people.Frequent teaching cases, coupled with the development of the May Fourth Movement and the New Culture Movement, set off two non-Christian movements between 1922 and 1927.The localization of Christianity in China was imminent, and localized Christian thought emerged at the historic moment. The second part analyzes the background of the localized Christian thought in the Korean Peninsula in modern times. The first Christian church in Korean Peninsula was established by Korean Peninsulan religious figures.Although there have been religious cases in Korean Peninsula in modern times, what is different from the Chinese religious cases is that the victims of the Korean Peninsulan religious cases are mostly missionaries, and the purpose of the religious cases is to suppress the Christian church. In addition, the main contradiction in modern Korean society is the contradiction with the Japanese aggressors. The church has become a gathering place for the people who resisted the aggression. It can be seen that the localization of modern Christianity in Korea is relatively natural, and the localized Christian thought is relatively moderate. The third part compares the background of the emergence of Christianity indigenization between China and Korean Peninsula in terms of the arrival of missionaries, the decline of Confucianism and the people’s views on Christianity. The third chapter is the specific content and comparison of the localized Christian thought in China and Korea in modern times. This chapter is divided into three parts. The first part discusses the Chinese native Christian thought. This chapter selects the thoughts of several representative modern Chinese theologians for discussion and analysis: Zhao Zichen’s ethical theology,Xie Fuya’s eclectic theology, and Wu Yaozong’s practical theology. The second part introduces the native Christian thought on the Korean peninsula. It also selects representative theologians and their thoughts on the Korean peninsula: Park Hyung Rong’s orthodox theology,Kim Jae Joon’s progressive theology, and the liberal theological trend represented by Zheng Jingyu. The third part summarizes the similarities and differences between the Chinese and Korean native Christian thoughts by analyzing their inheritance of traditional Christian thought and their relationship with Confucianism and local religions. The fourth chapter is the influence and comparison of localized Christian thought on China and Korean Peninsula. This chapter is also divided into three parts. The first part writes about the influence of localized Christian thought on China. The emergence and development of localized Christian thought is firstly beneficial to the spread of Christianity in China, and secondly,it promotes the formation of Chinese localized church. The second part is about the influence of localized Christian thought on the Korean Peninsula: the emergence and development of localized Christian thought first shaken the dominance of Confucianism in the field of thought, and secondly,it promoted the anti-Japanese patriotic movement on the Korean Peninsula. The third part is a comparative analysis of people’s lives, ideological influence, the promotion of the war against Japan, and the influence on the modern society of the two countries,to find out the similarities and differences between the two,and then compare them.Chapter 5 is the conclusion.Summarizing the full text, through the comparison and analysis of the background, specific content, and influence of the modern localized Christian thoughts in China and Korean Peninsula,it is finally concluded that the reason for the different results of the spread of Christianity and the localized Christian thoughts in the two countries is that the two countries are different. The original culture, the relationship between the two countries and the great powers, and the differences in cultural tolerance. In the end,it is concluded that if a foreign culture wants to take root in its own country, localization is a process that must be experienced.Only when foreign cultures adapt to traditional cultures can they be better localized. | Keywords/Search Tags: | China, Korean Peninsula,
