Lopez’s Painting Style And Its Influence On My Creation

Antonio Lopez Garcia is a contemporary Spanish figurative painter.Nowadays,with the popularity of mass media,people are more and more fond of pursuing novelty and stimulation of senses,and the traditional figurative painting is becoming more and more marginalized.Lopez’s figurative painting has its own unique expression technique,which presents us with a new experience and perspective to understand contemporary realistic painting,and takes us out of the "conservative" misunderstanding of realistic painting.Driven by the artist’s inner spiritual power,his works have immaterial "beyond reality".This paper consists of three chapters: The first chapter briefly combs the artistic and cultural background of Spain.It is no accident that painters choose and insist on figurative painting.On the one hand,it is a return and tribute to traditional painting classics;on the other hand,it keeps pace with the times,and then creates works of art that are in line with the quality of the present era.The second chapter is divided into four sections,which mainly makes a systematic analysis of the painter’s painting style.Firstly,it classifies the painters according to the theme,selects the representatives of the same theme works in different periods,compares their expressions before and after,and intuitively feels the style changes.Secondly,it explores the way of observing the painter’s sketching,and expounds the artist’s creative process in the process of sketching.The third chapter discusses a series of inspirations and thoughts of the painter in the author’s creation by combing the painter’s painting style as a whole.It provides experience for the observation of life around him,and makes a comprehensive conception from the aspects of observation of objects,theme selection,composition,emotion,etc.to make his works have "realistic" strength and depth,and solve many problems in his creative practice.
