The full name of the Xuan Ze Ji is the Xuan Ze Ben Yuan Nian Fo Ji.It was written by the founder of Pure Land Sect in Japan,who named Fa Ran.The complete collection consists of 16 chapters.Each chapter is composed of two parts: quotation and private interpretation.It mainly quotes the contents of "three classics and one theory" of Chinese Pure Land Sect and Guan Jing Shu written by Shan Dao.On the basis of inheriting the pure land thought of Shan Dao school,there are some innovations.it is the crystallization of pure land thought of Fa Ran,the product of the exchange of pure land thoughts between China and Japan,and is regarded as the canonical books of Japanese Pure Land Sect.This paper mainly uses the methods of literature reading,induction and comparative study to analyze the pure land thought and its formation process and inheritance,and deeply excavates the value of the pure land thought exchange and development history and academic research between China and JapanThis paper is divided into three parts: introduction,text and conclusion.The introduction part mainly introduces the significance of this topic,research status and specific research.In the sense of topic selection,the author starts from three aspects:the text value of the book and its value in studying the inheritance and development of Japan’s pure land thought,and the value in discussing the exchange of China’sand Japan’s pure land thought;in the research status,the author summarizes the research trend of the topic selection at home and abroad on the basis of combing the research Xinding Xuanze Benyuan Nianfo Ji collected by Teng Tangyou fan and the original scriptures collected by Dazheng Zang(cebta Edition),it finds out the differences between the citations in Xuan Ze Ji and the original scriptures,and analyzes the ways of quotation,the inheritance of pure land thought and the translation of Chinese Buddhist literature At the same time,it analyzes the inheritance and development of Japanese Pure Land Sect’s "choice thought" to Chinese pure land thought,and reveals the localization trend of Japanese Buddhism.The fourth chapter is the value analysis of the Xuan Ze Ji.This part mainly discusses the value of edition and collation of selected works and its important position in the development history of Japanese Buddhism and the history of Buddhist thought exchange between China and Japan from two aspects of literature value and historical value.The conclusion part summarizes the contribution of Fa Ran in the history of Japanese Buddhism and the
