Objective: To construct a theoretical model of the relationship between college students’ self-concern,fear of negative evaluation,and social anxiety.And on this basis,design a set of effective group counseling programs,with the help of the intervention of the individual’s self-concern and negative evaluation fear,to reduce the degree of social anxiety.Methods: Using a random sampling method,a total of 846 students from a university in Zhengzhou were randomly selected to participate in the questionnaire survey.The self-attention scale,the negative evaluation fear scale and the communication anxiety scale were used to assess the relevant conditions of the research subjects,and group psychological counseling was used The method of intervention is to intervene the social anxiety of college students and evaluate the effect of the intervention.The data and results are all processed and analyzed with SPSS 25.0 software.Result:(1)The average score of self-attention,the average score of negative evaluation fear,and the average score of communication anxiety of college students all have significant differences in gender(p<0.001);there are significant differences in the average score of communication anxiety in whether they are alone,where they come from,and whether they are left-behind(p<0.05).(2)There was a significant correlation between the total score of college students’ communication anxiety and the total score of negative evaluation fear and the degree of self-concern(p<0.01).(3)Self-attention has a significant positive predictive effect on fear of negative evaluation(β=0.45,p<0.001);self-attention has a significant positive predictive effect on social anxiety(β=0.16,p<0.001);negative evaluation Fear has a significant positive predictive effect on social anxiety(β=0.21,p<0.001).(4)The mediating effect of college students’ fear of negative evaluation in the relationship between self-attention and social anxiety is significant,and the mediating effect accounts for 38% of the total effect.(5)Before the implementation of group psychological counseling,there was no significant difference between the intervention group and the control group in the social anxiety score,the negative evaluation fear score and the self-attention score(p>0.05).(6)After receiving the intervention,the social anxiety score,negative evaluation fear score,and self-attention score of the intervention group were significantly lower than those of the control group(p<0.01);the tracking measurement results showed that the social anxiety scores and negative evaluation fears of the two groups of members The scores and self-attention scores showed significant differences(p<0.01).Conclusion: There is a significant correlation between self-concern,fear of negative evaluation and social anxiety,and fear of negative evaluation plays a mediating role between self-concern and social anxiety.Group psychological counseling can improve the degree of self-attention and negative evaluation fear of college students,thereby reducing the degree of social anxiety of college students,and the intervention can maintain good results for a long time.
