The generation and comprehension of the language program discourse of the cross talk and comic sketch is closely related to cognition.Therefore,Based on discourse relevance,this paper probe into the generation of discourse and the cognition of the audience in 90 cross talks and comic sketches,and tries to summarize the discourse relevance strategies of cross talks and comic sketches.Through the collection,screening,sorting and classification of literature,this paper summarizes the research status of relevance theory and the language program of the cross talk and comic sketch.The source,selection criteria,and features of the 90 selected language programs of cross talks and comic sketches are explained,and finally the research methods used are explained one by one.From the perspective of relevance theory,this paper describes,analyzes and explores the language program discourse of the cross talk and comic sketch.First of all,the cognitive context of the language program discourse of the cross talk and comic sketch is constructed from three aspects: the physical environment of discourse,the background knowledge of communicators and the cognitive ability of individuals.Secondly,it explores the ostensive-inferential model of the language program discourse of the cross talk and comic sketch.The two kinds of ostensive-inferential types,mapping inferential and experiential inferential in the language program discourse of the cross talk and comic sketch,are classified and counted in detail.On this basis,a new classification method,conventional inferential and unconventional inferential,is proposed.This paper makes a detailed analysis of the ostensive-inferential process of explicit recognition and implicit inference in typical discourse of the cross talk and comic sketch.Based on the description of discourse relevance,this paper explores the discourse relevance strategies in language programs of the cross talks and comic Sketches,and tries to summarize the discourse relevance strategies from three aspects: changing the cognitive context of discourse,improving the degree of discourse relevance and making the difference of discourse relevance.From the perspective of changing the cognitive context of discourse,this paper summarizes two strategies: new information excluding old information and background knowledge supplementing ostensive information;from the perspective of enhancing discourse relevance,this paper summarizes two strategies:the speaker enhancing contextual effect and the receiver paying extra effort;from the perspective of creating discourse relevance differences,this paper summarizes two strategies: intentionally causing relevance differences and unintentionally causing relevance differences.Finally,this paper sums up the conclusion of discourse relevance in the language programs of the cross talks and comic sketches,and points out the defects of corpus selection and questionnaire survey.
