A Study Of Jin Ziwei’s Novel Creation

Jin Ziwei began to publish novels in 1982,and has published more than 5 million words of works so far.He is an important writer in Northeast China in the new era,and also has a certain influence in the domestic literary world.Although there are more than50 review articles in the literary world,the in-depth and systematic research is not enough.Throughout his works in the past 40 years,it is not difficult to find his writing attitude of sinking into the predicament and breaking out of the circle constantly.He always pays attention to the absurd dilemma and human choice faced by ordinary people in real life,and examines the spiritual dilemma brought by modernity to human beings with the writing attitude of intellectuals’ popularization.At the same time,he can tell stories and pay attention to the creation of stories.His narrative skills are varied,integrating tradition with pioneer,and his narrative ability is constantly maturing.This paper takes "Jin Ziwei’s novel creation" as the title,on the basis of a comprehensive and in-depth reading of Jin Ziwei’s novel texts and related literature materials,carries on the overall interpretation of his creation background,story theme,character image,narrative mode,and then makes a rational reflection on his novel creation.The introduction introduces the origin and significance of this paper,and summarizes the research status of Jin Ziwei’s novels.The main part of the paper are four chapters.The first chapter discusses the background of Jin Ziwei’s novel creation,and explores the relationship between his personal and external reasons and his literary creation from three aspects: personal experience,era context and literary scene.The second chapter discusses the story themes and characters of Jin Ziwei’s novels,including the past experiences of rural people in Northeast China and the plight of ordinary citizens.The former is divided into three aspects: the marginal and complex historical events,the fate of ordinary people,and the childhood memories of the writers after the 1960 s in Northeast China.The latter includes the emotional dilemma of urban men and women in the game of love and marriage,the survival dilemma of small civil servants in the crevice of official rules,and the spiritual dilemma of intellectuals in the lack of faith and identity anxiety.The third chapter discusses the narrative mode of Jin Ziwei’s novels from three aspects: plot structure,space-time conversion and discourse style.Specifically,it shows the plot structure of suspense conflict caused by defamiliarization and open ending presented by unexpected reversal;the space-time transformation of multi-dimensional circular space-time and parallel split linear space-time;the discourse style of mysterious symbol and irony absurdity.The fourth chapter,on the basis of the above,makes a rational thinking on Jin Ziwei’s novel creation.Firstly,it combs Jin Ziwei’s literary creation stage.Secondly,it summarizes Jin Ziwei’s civilian writing posture and the modernity core of the story.At the same time,it objectively points out that Jin Ziwei’s excessive warmth and repeated writing in the "plateau" state of literature.The conclusion summarizes the viewpoints of this paper,and expects the academic research on Jin Ziwei’s novel creation to be more in-depth.
