Comparative Research On The Story Of Female Corpse Resurrection In Taipingguangji And Liaozhaizhiyi

Female corpse resurrection can be regarded as a story type under the motif of "Resurrection" in the history of literature.Since the Han and Wei dynasties,this story type has different degrees of deduction.Among them,Tai Pin Guang Ji in the early Song Dynasty and Liao Zhai Zhi Yi in the classical Chinese novel of Qing Dynasty are the most typical,In this paper,the two works of female corpse resurrection story as the research object,mainly from the following aspects:In terms of the general situation of the story,according to the analysis of the causes of resurrection,Tai Ping Guang Ji can be divided into four aspects: wrongful summoning,temporary summoning due to the need of the underworld,helping old friends and not dying from sin.Liao Zhai Zhi Yi can be divided into three aspects: free access to the human world and the underworld for help,personal efforts and love inspiration.Comparatively speaking,the former female corpse resurrection story is more affected by external factors,while the latter internal factors account for a greater proportion.In terms of theme,Tai Ping Guang Ji as an official bibliography,because its creative theme has obvious political intention,official color is relatively strong,and the people in its era are keen on religion,so it pays more attention to the theme of enlightenment.Liao Zhai Zhi Yi,as the carrier of Pu Songling’s personal will,mainly expresses the author’s feelings of loneliness and indignation,and has a stronger personal color,so it focuses on the theme of criticism.In terms of narrative strategy,Tai Ping Guang Ji focuses on the combination of the way of resurrection and the circular narrative mode of "human ghost human",while Liao Zhai Zhi Yi focuses on the combination of the way of resurrection and the unidirectional linear narrative mode of "ghost human".This is mainly because the enlightenment theme of Tai Ping Guang Ji can be highlighted by comparing the protagonist’s behavior in the world before his death and his behavior after being judged and revived in the underworld,so it is more combined with the circular narrative mode of "human ghost human";while the critical theme of Liao Zhai Zhi Yi is mainly manifested by the bold behavior of the protagonist when he appears in the form of ghost,so it is more combined with the unidirectional linear narrative mode of "ghost human".In terms of female outlook,the female corpse resurrection story in Liao Zhai Zhi Yi is more progressive and fair than the female corpse resurrection story in Taiping Guang Ji.The story of female corpse resurrection in Tai Ping Guang Yi is influenced by the literary view of "governing emotion by reason" and the aim of enlightenment,which praises the women who follow the ethical code;while Liao Zhai Zhi Yi is influenced by "governing emotion by reason" On the other hand,the influence of the trend of thought and its critical theme shows the praise to the women who violate the etiquette;on the attitude to women’s pursuit of free marriage,the story of female corpse resurrection in Liao Zhai Zhi Yi is more fair;On the cognition of women’s status,the story of female corpse’s resurrection in Liaozhaizhiyi is more advanced than that in Tai Ping Guang Ji,which fully affirms women’s pursuit of independence.
