| The marriage customs of the miao people in southern sichuan are the traditional culture deposited by the Miao people after migration,are the ethnic cultural memory of the Miao people in the long history,are the summary of the long-term practical experience in production and life,and reflects the spiritual culture and material level of the Miao people in southern sichuan.This paper takes the traditional marriage custom and culture of the Miao people in southern sichuan as the research object,and uses the theories of anthropology,folklore and other discipline theories to discuss the cultural connotation and function of the traditional marriage custom,the real situation of the traditional wedding ceremony,and some thoughts on the protection and inheritance of the traditional marriage custom culture of the Miao ethnic group in southern sichuan.This paper in the introduction part expounds the reason of why I choose this topic,significance,and the research status of the Miao ethnic group at home and abroad.The first chapter starts with the historical background of the Miao ethnic group,elaborates on the ethnic origin history,natural and cultural environment,traditional forms of marriage and love of the Miao ethnic group in southern Sichuan.The second chapter,based on the field investigation and the theory of "transitional etiquette",divides the process of traditional Miao’s wedding ceremony into three stages,then describe it in detail,trying to show the real traditional wedding ceremony of the Miao ethnic group in southern Sichuan today.The third chapter mainly analyzes the meaning behind the traditional wedding ceremony of the Miao ethnic group in southern Sichuan,such as "cutting the pig’s head ","taking the bamboo branch" and "beating the ghost ",and reveals the cultural connotation of the traditional wedding ceremony.The fourth chapter focuses on the analysis of the construction function,identification and cohesion function,inheritance function of the traditional marriage custom culture of the Miao people in southern Sichuan,highlighting the value of the traditional marriage custom of the Miao people in southern Sichuan today.The fifth chapter,based on the literature and field investigation,analyzes the changes and influencing factors of the traditional marriage custom culture of the Miao people in southern Sichuan since the establish of the China,and gives some advise on how to protect the traditional culture and set up the ethnic cultural confidence in the modern society.The Miao ethnic group in southern Sichuan has changed from being closed after migrating to Sichuan and gradually opening up after the founding of the People’s Republic of China to actively merging with the times now.Its social environment,ethnic relations,traditional culture and other ethnic characteristics have all been affected.At the same time,the marriage custom culture of the Miao people in southern Sichuan has been striving to keep the form and connotation of the Miao tradition,and has become the historical symbol of the ethnic spirit and ethnic memory of the Miao people in southern Sichuan.Therefore,it is very necessary to investigate and study the marriage customs of Miao people in southern Sichuan. |
