As the only national children’s journal in China,in 1977,Children’s Literature was reissued in Beijing after "ten years of devastation".Faced with the social context of "bring order out of chaos" and "barren",the editorial department of Children’s Literature headed by Jin Jin took the lead to gather new works by new writers,to control its creative direction,and to gradually establish a cornerstone,playing an irreplaceable role in the field of children’s literature at the beginning of the new period and then thinking about the significance of Children’s Literature as a "banner" for children and children’s literature at the beginning of the new period.At the same time,as a window to review the history of Children’s literature in the new period,the overall appearance of Children’s Literature also shows the active exploration of children’s literature workers on literature concept and creation practice.Based on this,the article attempts to reproduce the early children’s literature in the new period from recovery to gradual development by the historical context of re-publication,the concept of the publication and the texting and picturing,to summarize the unique features when Children’s Literature interacted with children’s literature in the new period,then thinking as a "flag" at the beginning of the new period,strongly influencing children’s literature.The first chapter discusses the historical context of the reissue of Children’s Literature at the beginning of the new period.First of all,in the new period,facing the realistic requirement of "Bring Order out of Chaos" after the collapse of the "Gang of Four",Children’s literature had gradually recovered.Secondly,the National Forum on the Publication of Children’s Books directly pointed out the direction of children’s literature,and then set off a new upsurge of children’s literature.In addition,the changing views in literature and art,such as the appeal for children’s literature to "return to its proper place",the discussion of "childlike innocence" and "child-oriented theory",also continuously promoting and driving the recovery and development of children’s literature creation.The second chapter analyzes the publishing concept of Children’s Literature at the beginning of the new period.At the beginning of its republication,Children’s Literature published many works which included trend of "scar literature",the work to expose and criticize the acts of "Gang of Four",meeting the need of "clearing away the poison and liberating the mind".Since then,in the early 1980 s,with the development of "bring order out of chaos",the journal began to review itself and returned to its original purpose of "for children".It published a large number of works which close to the reality and children,marking the feature of a given era.At the same time,the journal also thoroughly implemented the literary and artistic policy of "letting a hundred flowers bloom and a hundred schools of thought contend",breaking through the past forbidden areas on theme,calling for the new exploration of the theme.The third chapter summarizes the feature of Children’s Literature in the early period of the new period.The journal presents a new trend of children’s literature by adding albums,specific issues and flexible columns and also lays a good foundation for its development through the regular writing conference,the establishment of annual award mechanism and other ways to encourage new writer.The fourth chapter discusses the new appearance of its works at the beginning of the new period from three aspects-exploration of them,narrative features and aesthetic creation.First of all,from the perspective of theme,it depicts the human warmth and depicts the excellent qualities,aiming at recovering the moral sentiment eroded by the "turmoil" of the children,cultivating the children to feel love,and devoting itself to cultivating the children into a new generation of socialism with ideals,education and noble sentiment.On this basis,the author digs realistic problems from ordinary events,and further enhances the thinking level of the work,effectively reflecting the children’s preferences,worries and hatred and giving them beneficial education and inspiration.At the same time,based on the lofty mission of helping the "four modernizations",the popular science-themed works also showed a vigorous development in this period.Secondly,based on the traditional narrative mode,it develops the "prose culture" structure that emphasizes emotional expression and the "serial style" structure that runs through each chapter by the main line.At the same time the language is quite fresh and lively,which is in line with children’s own language characteristics.Finally,from aesthetic aspect,the author gives full play to the characteristics of fantasy,creates novel fairy tale images that break through "typification",and creates a wonderful atmosphere where fantasy and reality blend together,fully demonstrating the aesthetic value of children’s literature.The fifth chapter,based on the development of Children’s Literature in the early stage of the new period and the specific features of Children’s Literature,the article affirms its action to publish young people’s reading essay,to set up the interactive column of "reader,editor and author",and to expound that it has made outstanding contributions to the construction of the editorial team and writer team,thus strengthening the communication between readers and the Journal,and improving readers’ aesthetic appreciation and acceptance.At the same time,the article also points out the fact that the works are mixed in style and fail to develop in balance,and makes a reflection on the problem of artistic exploration.
