Children’s Literature is the only national children’s literature journal in China, which has always been a banner of children’s literature journals and an important participant and witness in the development of children’s literature in different periods. In the eighties of last century, when children’s literature was revitalized,it was also pulled by two trends from internal ethnic traditions and foreign ideas and cultures, and it was particularly important to develop children’s literature of local ethnic groups and promote the localization of Chinese children’s literature. From its republication in 1977 to the entire eighties,Children’s Literature presented a new local style and played an important role in the localization process of children’s literature.Based on this, this paper first analyzes the reasons for the localization of children’s literature in the 80s from the historical dimension, starts from the rediscovery of children’s literature in the 80s and the overall observation of the social context of great development, further elaborates the prosperity of children’s literature publishing in the tide of the times, and points out the pioneer and exemplary role of "Children’s Literature" magazine in it,relying on the panoramic display of "Children’s Literature" magazine on children’s literature creation, research and extraterritorial communication in the 80s.Propose the importance of his research on the localization of children’s literature in the eighties. Then, through text close reading and text analysis, the local characteristics of children’s literature presented by Children’s Literature magazine are investigated, and the local development of children’s literature in the 80s is analyzed and discussed from multiple perspectives such as the promotion of children’s literature localization by the magazine, the local literary landscape, and the new local art. Finally,it focuses on the present, examines the significance of Children’s Literature magazine to the localization of children’s literature, and considers the possibility of Chinese children’s literature to improve itself and go to the world by analyzing the lack of local originality of children’s literature. The first chapter analyzes the historical dimension of children’s literature and localization from the historical field.First of all, after the "rectification of chaos" in the 80s,children’s literature went out of the swamp to construction, children’s literature was rediscovered, and creation was revived. And with the convening of the "Lushan Conference" and the resumption of "Children’s Literature",the deserted children’s literature garden has regained its vitality.Secondly, under the influence of the relatively mature adult literature trend-"root-seeking tide" and "exploration tide",children’s literature also shows the same trend tendency, that is,in-depth excavation of the Chinese national spirit and Chinese cultural significance and the "new wave" creation of the new generation of children’s literature writers. Finally,it is proposed that finding the national roots of Chinese children’s literature in the new trend and tradition is the only way to complete the localization.Chapter 2 explores the role of Children’s Literature in promoting the localization of children’s literature in the 80s.The first is the gathering and cultivation of local writers,"Children’s Literature" gathers three generations of children’s writers to form a team of backbone writers, and sets up literary awards such as the "New Miao Award" to cultivate new literary talents.Secondly,"Children’s Literature" has set up editorial activities to promote Sino-foreign exchanges and protect local characteristics, such as holding seminars and cross-strait and extraterritorial literary exchanges, and setting up columns on traditional Chinese literature and foreign literature. Finally,"Children’s Literature" influences young readers through education, promotes the localization of literature through educational forms such as literary theory and art,and improves the reading and aesthetic level of young readers.Chapter 3 starts from the text picture pointed by the local spirit rooted in the soil of the Chinese nation, focuses on the excellent works in the "Children’s Literature" magazine in the 80s,and explores the local landscape presented in the text from three aspects.First,it discusses the inheritance of traditional resources in children’s literature, including the review of traditional culture and classical aesthetics, and the use of folk literature resources such as legends and stories;Second, from the distinctive regional countryside, through the regional description of the interest of the Yunling Plateau, the good, beautiful and intellectual western folk,Zhong Lingyuxiu’s Jiangnan water town, etc.,discover the unique value of the local place;Third,it explores the local reality of the 80s,presenting the real life of children at that time in the historical background and cultural background of that time.Chapter 4 focuses on the excellent works published in Children’s Literature magazine in the 80s,and explores the new artistic characteristics of children’s literature at this time from three aspects.First,it discusses the renewal of children’s literature styles, mainly starting from the three genres of animal novels, juvenile novels, and "lively" fairy tales with distinctive characteristics and rapid momentum in the 80s;Second,the artistic depth presented by children’s literature is discussed, starting from the two aspects of "deep narrative" mainly represented by childhood spiritual suffering and life gender consciousness, and the "deep literary image" represented by the construction of new children with future national character on the basis of "human discovery";Third,it explores the local inheritance of the aesthetic personality of children’s literature, starting from the two aspects of the poetic beauty of nature represented by the I Ching and the unbridled style of Wang Yang represented by Taoism.Chapter 5 is based on the overall view of children’s literature and the specific style of Children’s Literature magazine, and affirms the importance of Children’s Literature to the localization and development of children’s literature. It pointed out the limitations of local creation and looked forward to the future of China’s original children’s literature.
