The term "Majolica" is a generic term for Italian tin-glazed pottery,which is a representative national art in the history of Italian ceramics.The "Chinoiserie" was a style of art created in Europe in the 17 th and 18 th centuries as a result of the influence of Eastern art,and from the 17 th and 18 th centuries onwards,Majolica tin-glazed pottery began to appear in Italy on a large scale.This paper takes the art of Majolica tin-glazed pottery in Italy as the main research object,elaborates on the process of Majolica and its art development history,and takes the 17th-18 th century European Chinoiserie art as the research background,conducts an in-depth study of Majolica Chinoiserie art,systematically composes the development process of Majolica Chinoiserie according to the historical development clues,and discusses the formation of Majolica Chinoiserie art The reasons,process,and influence of Majolica Chinoiserie are discussed.This paper starts the research from the following three aspects: firstly,on the basis of a clear understanding of the development pattern of Majolica Chinoiserie,a large number of pictures and textual materials are collected as theoretical basis.Secondly,it summarizes the artistic expression of Chinoiserie in the 17th-18 th century Italian Majolica tin-glazed pottery in terms of decorative patterns,color styles and compositional features,and analyzes the artistic characteristics that reflect the Chinese style.Finally,the phenomenon of the prevalence of Chinoiserie in the 17th-18 th century Italian Majolica tin-glazed pottery is considered,and the significance of the study is summarized.The Chinoiserie art of Italian Majolica began with the Italian desire for Tang white porcelain,emerged from the imitation of blue and white china in Ming dynasty,and flourished from the study of colors china in Qing dynasty.Using documentary research and image analysis,this paper summarizes the characteristics of Majolica’s Chinoiserie art into three aspects: from the aspect of ornamentation,Italian painters in Majolica were good at using Chinese decorative ornaments and were able to use the artistic expression of Chinese ceramics to express European decorative elements;from the aspect of color,mainly by combining Chinese representative colors with ornamentation and composition to create a Chinese style From the point of view of composition,it is mainly through learning the composition of Chinese landscape painting and its composition relationship to form a Chinese flavor.The study of this paper will supplement the gap in the study of Italian Majolica tin-glazed pottery and provide more theoretical basis for the study of the influence of Chinese ceramics on the world art.In addition,it will help to establish friendly relations between China and Italy,promote world cultural exchanges,and enhance the cultural confidence of the Chinese nation. |
