Minoan pottery is the product of the Minoan civilization,which is often used as a tool to determine the Minoan civilization era.The pattern of Mino pottery refers to the pattern attached to Mino pottery.From the past research,the domestic research on Minoan pottery is very lacking.There has not yet been a detailed study of the works,most of them are general literature.And as one of the most exquisite panted pottery in the major civilizations at the same time,Minoan pottery undoubtedly has a high value.The author hopes to find out the inner law of minoan pottery by studying its pattern.In this paper,Minoan pottery pattern as the research object,the main way to take a combination of data collection and literature analysis,the content of the pattern of each period is summarized and sorted,and its regular summary.The research shows that Minoan pottery pattern can be divided into two parts: t style pattern and pictorial painting.Prior to the late Minoan period,the style pattern occupied the vast majority of Mino pottery patterns,which had a decorative flavor and were easy to replicate.The pictorial pattern is in the late Minoan,it is a kind of painting art attached to the surface of pottery.pictorial patterns pursue the realicity of things,which is difficult to copy.Whether it is a patterned pattern or a pictorial pattern,had experienced hundreds of years of development,have their own unique laws of evolution.Through the study of Minoan pottery pattern,there is no doubt that it will enhance the understanding of overseas panted pottery in the ancient times,and also provide more detailed information for later researchers.What’s more,the evolution of Minoan pottery patterns may be helpful in new areas such as contemporary art and digital media.
