Research On The Instrumental Qupai In Shangdang Bangzi

Shangdang Bangzi opera is one of the most popular operas in the southeast of Shanxi Province.With mature performance program,rich repertoire,unique singing and various instrumental music.With the footprints of Shangdang merchants,Shangdang Bangzi has stepped into southern Hebei and Southwest Shandong,and has derived two new operas-Xidiao and Zaobang.The author chooses the change and migration of Qupai as the foothold,starting from Shangdang Bangzi’s Wenchang instrumental music Qupai,trying to understand the evolution track of Shangdang Bangzi’s Wenchang Qupai in the dimension of time and space.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first part analyzes the presentation mode of Shangdang Bangzi Wenchang Qupai in traditional opera,investigates and measures the instruments commonly used by Wenchang band,and discusses the structure of Qupai and the development mode of common melody;The second part is the research on the form and application of Qupai in modern opera.It finds out the key points of the change of Qupai application under the instrumental innovation.Since the model opera,the instrumental form of Shangdang Bangzi has gradually formed a mature and complete system,which has undergone great changes compared with the instrumental structure of traditional opera,The third section focuses on the analysis and discussion of the presentation of traditional Qupai in contemporary times;The third part describes the spread of Shangdang Bangzi in different places.It is found that there are great similarities in the reasons for the spread of Shangdang Bangzi in these two places."Xidiao" and "Zaobang" are the products of the collision between merchants’ activities and local culture.In the third section,through the analysis of the length,rhythm,falling tone,mode,music style of Qupai It is found that there are five kinds of phenomenon: the same name and the same tune,the same name and the different tune,the same name and the similar tune,and the local tunes;The fourth part,based on the above research results,discusses the changes of Shangdang Bangzi Wenchang Qupai in the two dimensions of space and time from the perspective of history,geography,culture and inheritance.
