A Study On The Phenomenon Of Chinese Contemporary Clay Slice Artistic Creation

As a world-famous ancient country of ceramics,China has a long history of ceramic culture,which has been developing with the development of human civilization since the Neolithic Age and occupies an important position in people’s life.Clay piece forming as an important way in ceramic production,has been through in ceramic art culture,this way at first base used for the purpose of practical production,along with the people in the production of mud forming method of master,will start its use in ceramic sculpture making,auxiliary adornment effect,but in today’s society has gradually become a kind of pure art form of expression,They are very popular with artists.This paper mainly discusses the phenomenon of China clay piece of art,first on clay forming method in the evolution of the Chinese history of comb,witnessed the important role of it in the Chinese ceramics culture,then analyses the contemporary artists use clay molding creation status quo,and mud piece of its own unique properties were summarized."He Yun" series is created by means of slide-forming,which is a batch of ceramic works reflecting traditional Chinese culture.This series of works adopts Peking Opera and sketch themes as the main creation elements,expresses the unique freehand style of China with slide-forming,and abstracts and summarizes the characteristics of creation elements.These elements are the magnificent treasures of traditional Chinese culture.I hope I can have a deeper understanding of the molding method of clay slices through this art practice,make a little contribution to the revival of traditional Chinese culture,and find my own artistic path and creative direction.
