On The Narration Of Predicament In Rou Shi’s Novels

Rou Shi,a modern writer,lived a life as short as a shooting star.Although he enjoyed great political fame,he left us a clear but somewhat fuzzy figure.Entering the literary world constructed by Rou Shi,he has a unique and delicate perception of the people’s spiritual world in the period of transition from the old times to the new times.In his novels,he hided the heat in calmness and tried to think about the group’s predicament by the fate of the individual,and always paid attention to the life itself to explore the essence of life and the meaning of existence.Rou Shi’s novels take 1928 as the boundary.Before 1928,most of his novels focused on the intellectuals’ predicament,presenting their melancholy and confusion with obvious self-narration and biography.After 1928,most of his novels focused on the women’s suffering in the real and spiritual world.Rou Shi show their predicament by describing their illusion,dream,disease,death and so on,which made unique and profound contributions to left-wing literature.In this paper,combining with the time of Rou Shi and its influence on it,the writer takes Rou Shi’s novels as the main research object,supplemented by diaries and letters,and gives in-depth consideration to his narration of the suffering of intellectuals and women in his novels,so as to explore its significance and value in left-wing literature.This paper divided into three chapters.The first chapter is "the Source of the Narration of Predicament",which traces Rou Shi’s creation from his life experience and the influence of others.The second chapter is "the Narrative Content of the Predicament",discussing images of the intellectuals and women in his novels and their spiritual predicament.The third chapter is "Narrative Mode of Predicament",which explores the unique artistic charm of his novels in left-wing literature from the narrative aspect.
