| Baojuan evolved from the Secular Preaching and Bianwen of the Tang Dynasty.It is a rap text sung in accordance with certain rituals in religious and folk activities.Since the 1920 s,Baojuan has received increasing attention from researchers.The research on Baojuan has been around for nearly a hundred years.Promoted by Mr.Che Xilun,a leader in contempory Baojuan research,the academic research on Baojuan’s origin,production,system and form has become more mature,and it is becoming more and more mature.In the direction of development,it has become a new trend to conduct thematic research on the representative Baojuan texts in a certain area.This article takes the “Wusheng Baojuan” widely circulated in Wu dialect as the research object.Under the premise of comprehensively collecting and sorting out the“Wusheng Baojuan” documents and sorting out the bibliographic editions,it adopts textual close reading,cultural and historical mutual evidence and comparative analysis.And other research methods.In addition to the introduction,this article is divided into four parts: The first chapter discusses the version and form of “Wusheng Baojuan”.On the one hand,it sorts out the version of Baojuan and explores the development and evolution of the “Wusheng Baojuan” in the context of folklore;on the other hand,through the deconstruction of the text of the “Wusheng Baojuan”,it reveals the unique characteristics of the textual form of the “Wusheng Baojuan”.The second chapter traces the text content of “Wusheng Baojuan”.On the one hand,it analyzes the composition of the main unit of the story,and examines the relationship between “Wusheng Baojuan”and other novels and Baojuan with similar plots;on the other hand,it clarifies the image characteristics of “Taimu” and “Wusheng” in the two branches of text stories and folklore.The third chapter clarifies the functional direction of the Baojuan.Focusing on the actual spread of the “Wusheng Baojuan” in civil society,the social functions of the “Wusheng Baojuan” are summarized as the function of disaster,name rectification,entertainment and enlightenment.The fourth chapter examines the narrative structure of the story content of “Wusheng Baojuan”.Through the interpretation of the traditional narrative motifs involved in the “Wusheng Baojuan”,it explores the commonality of the narratives between the folk literature and traditional Chinese novels and operas.Through the systematic consideration of the “Wusheng Baojuan”,we can further clarify the religious,literary,social and narrative value contained in the “Wusheng Baojuan”.As the representative volume of Wu dialect,“Wusheng Baojuan” should receive attention that matches the humanistic value it contains. |
