An Analysis Of Prehistoric Jade Bracelets In The Yangtze River Basin

The Yangtze River Basin is one of the important regions where the prehistoric jade has developed maturely.Compared with other regions,more decorative jade wares are unearthed,and the related research helps us better understand the prehistoric jade culture of the Yangtze River Basin.The research object of this thesis is the 332 jade bracelets unearthed.Based on the typological analysis,the jade bracelets are inspected by stages,ages,and regional characteristics.Then the social issue of the relevance of jade bracelets are discussed with the background of the jade bracelets,the tomb owner’s gender,age,the tomb level.This thesis includes five parts:Chapter one gives an overview of the writing background,ideas,and methods of this thesis.In chapter two,based on the regional distribution,the statistics of the prehistoric jade bracelets currently unearthed in the Yangtze River Basin are presented.The prehistoric jade bracelets are described in detail.In chapter three,the typology and genealogy of jade bracelets are analyzed.sorted.The development and evolution characteristics of jade bracelets in the Yangtze River basin in prehistoric times are developed and summarized.In chapter four,based on the typological analysis,the social functions and users of jade bracelets are discussed with the unearthed background,tombs,and ruins of the jade bracelet.Chapter five summarizes the views of this thesis and points out the shortcomings of this thesis.
