The lower reaches of the Yangtze River were lined with princes during the Han Dynasty, and a large number of Han burials have been found in this area,of which hundreds of jade stones were unearthed. This article first divides the tombs of the jade excavated in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River by region, and introduces the orientation, size, age, grade of the tombs, and the ornaments and sizes of the jade excavated. Then analyze the unearthed jade, and research the jade’s pattern, stage, unearthed location and unearthed tomb level respectively. After a comparative study of the Han Dynasty jade unearthed from the lower reaches of the Yangtze River with the middle reaches of the Yangtze River and Shandong,we can find that their consistency is greater than the difference. The consistency of these three regions also shows the consistency of the jade of Han Dynasty. From the unified production workshop of jade,to the top-down rewards, and then to the difference in levels used,it effectively illustrates the unity of jade bi in the Han Dynasty.Of course, these three regions have their own characteristics in addition to their common characteristics. The combination of historical factors and the advantages of natural resources make jade-lacquered coffins a major feature in the lower reaches of the Yangtze River.Natural resources and spiritual factors jointly created the prevalence of talc in the middle reaches of the Yangtze River, especially in Hunan, and became a feature of low-grade tombs in the Han Dynasty in this area. The ancient people’s worship of the sun, combined with the unique geographical location of Shandong, created the appearance of sacrificial sites and jade bi in the Shandong region during the Qin and Han dynasties.
