Virtual Reality(VR)is a hot technology that has received much attention in recent years,its combination with the field of film and television has given birth to a new art form----VR films.The immersive,interactive and imaginative features of VR technology have given VR films a new way of creation and presentation,allowing viewers to interact with the movie while obtaining an immersive audiovisual experience.However,the industry’s exploration of VR films is still in its infancy,and the VR film works on the market are even more mixed,most of which are a little stiff for the integration of interaction and narrative.Scholars’research on interaction and narrative also lacks a systematic summary of the principles and methods of VR film interaction,and its guiding significance for practice is relatively limited.Therefore,the practical purpose of this subject is to deeply analyze the spatial immersion experience of VR films.Based on this,the interactive principles that match the immersive narrative are summarized,and the VR film work《The Blind》is created under the guidance of theoretical principles.This subject first conducts theoretical research on the characteristics of VR films and the development and change of interaction.It summarizes the common interactive experiences of VR films,including gaze focus,gesture control,voice command and spatial movement,and clarifies the contradiction between interaction and immersive narrative.Then the paper defines the two concepts of VR film’s virtual space:physical space and narrative space.Based on the two spaces,the paper expounds the physical and psychological immersive experience brought by VR films to audiences,and proposes six interaction design principles:"adapting to the film’s conditions",establishing film world rules,maintaining continuous narrative,controlling the number of interaction points,rationalizing the interaction time and making the interface invisible.The next step is to guide the design of interactive content in《The Blind》through design principles.In the creative practice part,the paper first analyzes the narrative theme of the work,and explores the interactive needs of the work from the audience’s psychological perspective,and then designs the narrative structure of the film,expounds the design strategy of the interactive points of the film from four aspects:number,type,time and way of interaction.At last,the paper gives a detailed design of the experiential interaction points of physical space and the decision-making interaction points of narrative space.
