Research On Toasting Songs Of Miao Ethnicity In Liyumiao Village Of Xingren City

In the long history of conquering and transforming nature,the Miao people have created the toasting songs of the Miao Ethnicity which have been handed down by oral teaching that inspires true understanding within,whose unique culture shows the historical culture and social life of the Miao people.The custom that "Wine gives birth to songs,songs express feelings,wine acts as a gift and conveys feelings" has undergone thousands of years by Miao Ethnicity.This paper is to study the Miao Ethnicity toasting songs that migrated to the Liyumiao Village in Xingren City,Southwest Guizhou Autonomous Prefecture,Guizhou Province during Jiaqing’s reign.Via communication with the Miao compatriots in the Liyumiao Village,the paper explores the living environment of the Miao Ethnicity toasting songs as well as their musical features and social functions,inheritance status and approaches.The author also collected and sorted out the Miao Ethnicity toasting songs,and narrated the Miao Ethnicity toasting songs with words,thus appealing to more young Miao Ethnicity people to inherit the toasting songs and improve it.
