Writing skill is a kind of comprehensive skill among the basic English skills.The improvement of writing ability can also promote the development of other English skills.Teaching assessment is not only an important way to assess teaching effect,but also an important means to promote the development of students’ potential.For a long time,the college English writing teaching assessment in China is mainly the summative assessment.The assessment method focuses on the results of assessment and ignores the process,which is not conducive to the comprehensive development of students’ writing ability.Therefore,it is necessary to establish a new assessment system for college English writing teaching.In recent years,dynamic assessment(DA)has attracted more and more attention in the field of second language teaching because it emphasizes the combination of teaching and assessment.The introduction of DA into china has attracted the attention of many domestic scholars,but the domestic researches on DA mainly focus on how to apply DA to classroom teaching or theoretical introduction,but lack of empirical researches.Therefore,the thesis uses writing teaching method based on DA for experimental research.In this study,90 students from Classes 2019-B4 and 2019-C2 of Xinjiang Normal University are selected as research subjects.Questionnaires,tests and interview are used to solve the following three questions.(1)What are the effects of dynamic assessment on students’ English writing attitude?(2)What are the effects of dynamic assessment on students’ English writing scores?(3)What are the effects of dynamic assessment on students at different English levels(high-score group,middle-score group and low-score group)?The following research results are obtained through experimental research: 1)After the application of dynamic assessment,most students’ attitude towards English writing have become more positive,showing greater confidence,interest,and writing initiative.At the same time,they have learned to reflect on English writing.2)Through the application of dynamic assessment,students’ writing scores have been significantly improved.3)The application of dynamic assessment can effectivelyimprove the writing scores of students in the middle-score group and low-score group,but has no significant impact on the writing scores of students in the high-score group.Although there are some limitations in the study,it also brings some implications to the future English writing teaching.At the same time,the study is also an innovative attempt in college English writing teaching. |
