Trees in the natural scene of the great and strong external form,the changing sense of momentum and intertwined with the branches of the line,and then give the artist the image of life imagination.The author chooses the dutch painter Vincent Willem van Gogh and china painter Luo Er Chun as the artistic representatives of the east and west,because the trees in both of them have the same artistic commonality: strong expressiveness of freehand brushwork,artistic appeal,and play an important role in the art world.Van Gogh and Luo Er Chun strive to show the original ecology of the trees and "true ",the image of the trees are between the like and the like,uncovering the unique " alternative " view of the trees in the picture Sense appearance,dig the true feeling and state behind the tree image,unrestrained,free expression is the essence of art and the hidden value behind the truth.This thesis will analyze the true meaning behind the trees from the following aspects: firstly,from the background of their own times,the analysis of the life of the characters as the starting point of this paper,which is also one of the basis for the analysis of the formation of the artist’s artistic style characteristics;secondly,from the most representative and unique tree series of oil painting works,from their color,brush strokes,lines of art language and expression form combined with the character characteristics to analyze in depth,and combined with the external comprehensive factors to its artistic influence,real touch,transposition thinking of the creation’s inner feelings;secondly,the interpretation of Luo Er Chun and pure Van Gogh in the picture of the expression of the freehand art language;At last,combining themselves with the influence of the two artists,the author makes the process and feeling of the tree.
