It discussed the concept of Australian aboriginal Yirikala style of painting and its relevance to my own style of painting. The concept of using the body as fragments was based on my artistic research on different Western painters such as Alice Neel, Willem de Kooning, Frida Kahlo, Francis Bacon, and Vincent Van Gogh to see how their works related to the idea of using the body as fragments.; Through my discussion of Alice Neel, Willem de Kooning, Frida Kahlo, Francis Bacon, and Vincent Van Gogh, readers of this thesis can clearly understand the influences and connections between my art work and theirs. Although these artists influenced me greatly, I still had to develop my own style of painting which is also based on my own ideas and experiences. | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Vincent van gogh, Frida kahlo, Francis bacon, De kooning, Willem de, Alice neel | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
