The term "new Chinese words" discussed in this paper refers to the new words that have appeared in the new period since China’s reform and opening to the outside world.Since the reform and opening-up,China’s social economy and culture have developed rapidly.This rapid social change has changed the Chinese language and new words would carry a lot of new information.Thus,it would reflect the rapid changes of society.These new words are an important basis for insight into this society.Like other countries,"Chinese syndrome" has appeared and enthusiasm for learning Chinese has been growing.With the development of teaching Chinese,more Chinese learners realized that learning Chinese was no longer a simple language learning.They also wanted to learn about Chinese politics,economy and culture.Therefore,the author believes that through the teaching of new Chinese words,not only can Korean Chinese learners learn the Chinese,but also the related social culture,deepening their understanding of the new China.It would enhance their confidence in learning the Chinese language,and improve their ability to communicate with the Chinese language.Therefore,this study is conducted from the following aspects on the basis of investigation and collection of relevant materials.The introduction begins with the research purpose,research content,literature review,and research method.On the basis of analyzing the present situation of Chinese teaching in Korea,Chapter 1 expounds the development of teaching Chinese in Korea.The necessity of teaching the new language has become a priority amongst Koreans.The second chapter discusses the criteria for choosing new words in Chinese language teaching helping native Chinese teachers choose new words that are suitable for teaching.This is presented by the usage of questionnaires to understand Korean students’ knowledge and interest in learning new words.Chapter 3 draws on the research results of the Chinese scholar’s Chinese New Words ontology.From the composition features and methods of word creation,it helps native Chinese teachers in Korea recognize the characteristics of new words in Chinese,laying the foundation for their teaching methods of educating new words to Koreans.Chapter 4 puts forward the implementation plan of Chinese Newspeak Teaching from the two aspects of Chinese Newspeak Teaching Principles and Methods for reference of native Chinese teachers in Korea.The teaching of new Chinese words must follow the general principles of Chinese vocabulary teaching according the the characteristics,while simultaneously,adopting the corresponding principles.These include:(1)new words learning combined with social and cultural background knowledge;(2)new words using language practical applications;(3)new words using students’ knowledge of basic meanings and analogical meanings;(4)New words are derived from old words.In order to effectively improve the efficiency of new words teaching,it is necessary to adopt the proper teaching method.These methods include:(1)class extrapolation method;(2)comparison method;(3)vocabulary morphological method;(4)professional terminology generalization method;(5)connection culture environment method.It is hoped that the research of this article will attract the attention of the Chinese teaching professions in Korea and provide reference for local Chinese teachers to develop the new Chinese vocabulary teaching in the Chinese teaching.
