On The Artistic Features And Singing Features Of "Two Songs On The Back Of Bashan" In Northeast Sichuan

Folk music has its unique artistic charm,and folk music in different regions has different musical colors."Songs of the Carriers" is a song improvised and sung by the Bashan brothers while resting on the way,showing what the Bashan brothers have seen and heard during the work.It is the most primitive and representative kind of song in Bazhou folk songs,and it is the concrete embodiment of Ba people’s spiritual culture and Ba people’s historical basis."Songs of the Carriers" has a high-pitched tune,free rhythm,and the singing is based on dialects.It is simple,easy to understand,and has a strong rustic flavor and local characteristics.This paper will explore the artistic characteristics and singing characteristics of "Songs of the Carriers".First,the historical origin of "Bashan brothers" and the history and changes of "Songs of the Carriers" will be summarized.Starting from the human geography environment,this paper will further introduce the course of "Songs of the Carriers" with the change of the times.Secondly,the artistic form of "Songs of the Carriers" will be explained in detail,and its characteristics are mainly analyzed from three major aspects: music,lyrics,and singing.Music is mainly analyzed from scales and mode,rhythms,melody shapes,as well as the tune structure and the lining tunes.The lyrics introduce their distinctive literary features,colorful lining words,and unique expression techniques.The singing mainly elaborates on the use of breath,run-cavity,the relationship between lyric and song and emotional expression.Finally,this article mainly discusses the social function and aesthetic value of "Songs of the Carriers".
