| The contemporary art song Chai Tou Feng written by Lu You,the poet in Song Dynasty and composed by Zhou Yi,the contemporary composer and the contemporary art song Jiang Cheng Zi written by Su Shi,the poet in Song Dynasty and composed by Ao Changqun,the contemporary composer are both excellent works.The two songs both adapt the graceful works of great poets and combine Chinese classical poetry and contemporary art song as well as lyrics and music.The two songs both have significant literary value and artistic value.This thesis explores literary features,artistic features and singing of the two songs.The first chapter ties to find similarities and differences of two Song Dynasty lyrics based on previous studies from three aspects of background information,text features and literary characteristics.It hopes to explain authors’ mood at the time of writing and the artistic implications of the two lyrics.The first chapter offers analytical basis for follow-up artistic analysis.The second chapter hopes to use the two songs as cases to explore musical structure,musical features and blending of lyrics and music.The author explores the two songs from the perspective of the rhyme of the work,deeply analyzing artistic features and style characteristics of the two works.The third chapter will focus on singing characteristics of the two songs of Chai Tou Feng and Jiang Cheng Zi.The singing exploration of this research implements from aspects of singing techniques and singing expression,focusing on the artistic features and emotional expression of the two works,returning to the emotional connotation conveyed by the works,.The main conclusion of this research is that the two works have both similarities and differences in the aspects of literacy,music and singing.Firstly,from the literary perspective,the two works are consistent in the subject,writing style and portrayal.However,there are still some differences in the focus,structure and writing style;Secondly,from the artistic point of view,both songs have achieved a blend of lyrics and music.Structures of the music of both songs are simple and clear,and styles of the tune are both low and soft.However,Chai Tou Feng applies the harmonic minor,which is softer and meticulous while Jiang Cheng Zi adopts the national feather tone,which is more liberal and natural;Thirdly,from the perspective of singing,both songs require singers to grasp the outline of the work and the emotional tone,and master the lyrics,music scores and rhymes.When singers sing,they need to control the volume to ensure the continuity of breath and the softness of the tone.The emotion expression should be natural and sad to show the theme of two songs.However,the two works have obvious distinctions in singing role positioning and specific singing details.This research can provide useful supplements for relevant research fields.It also tries to analyze the profound artistic connotation of literary works from new research perspective.It provides diversified approaches and useful reference to understand literary works and contemporary art songs adapted from Chinese classical poetry,and theoretically enriches existing research paradigms and research methods.In addition,the analysis of the two classic works in this thesis has significant practical meanings.It can provide the basis and reference for vocal music teachers and students to have further understanding of the characteristics of similar works,thoughts and feelings,and singing skills. |
