Research On The Variant Characters Of Hongwu Zhengyun

"Hongwu Zhengyun" is Zhu Yuanzhang in the early Ming Dynasty in order to unify the use of rhyme standards ordered the compilation of an official rhyme book,the book received a total of 14550 words,including 1226 variant characters.The study of "Hongwu Zhengyun" allogeneic characters has certain theoretical value for the enrichment and development of the theory of Chinese character conformation.The variant expression of "Hongwu Zhengyun" has a relatively fixed style.The book uses 10 expressions to communicate the variant characters.Among them,the number of people who used "also" was the most,2578 times,accounting for 40% of the total number of allogeneic groups.In addition,Hongwu Zhengyun directly cited ancient literature to identify more than 800 groups of variant characters.Using ancient literature can not only facilitate scholars to check the original text and find the source,but also enhance the credibility of the identity of interword relations.The variant characters in Hongwu Zhengyun can be divided into two categories: heteromorphism(395 groups)and heterogeneous characters(831 groups).heterogeneous characters can be further divided into strokes(344 groups)and component dissimilar characters(51 groups).heterogeneous characters are divided into heterogeneous characters with the same configuration pattern(792 groups)and heterogeneous characters with different configuration patterns(39 groups).Most of the components of different writing are indirect components which are reduced purposefully by the writer without changing the meaning of the structure.On the one hand,the writing of Chinese characters is limited by the objective conditions,and the variant characters will A lot of complicated glyphs appear.On the other hand,the writer’s personal subjective will is relatively strong,the individual understanding of a word is different,writing norms are different,sometimes in order to express personality or in order to pursue the symmetrical beauty of the font to change the writing pen shape,resulting in a large number of different writing.The heterogeneous characters with the same configuration pattern are mainly composed of phonetic characters,which are mainly influenced by the development and evolution of Chinese characters,and accord with the general trend of the development of phonetic and simple laws of Chinese characters.
