New media has not been in front of the public for a long time in China,but it has been widely used in various fields of society,and it is an important part of people’s daily life communication and entertainment.At present,the development level of new media technology in China has been in line with the international standards,but compared with developed countries,the research on ethical issues in new media communication is still lagging behind.At present,the development of new media has risen to the level of national consciousness,and its ethical issues in the process of communication have been paid more and more attention.Ethics is a philosophy with morality as its core content,and morality is exclusive to human beings.In essence,new media is a tool to serve people,and it does not have moral attributes.However,the ethical issues in its communication cannot be separated from people,the main body in the core position of communication activities.Therefore,the shaping of "Virtue" of new media communication subject is the core to solve the ethical problems in new media communication activities.In view of the characteristics of new media communication subject in communication activities,combined with the current situation of new media development and the law of media communication in China,through the representative cases of new media communication in recent years,from the perspective of "Virtue" of communication subject,this paper summarizes and analyzes the causes of ethical problems in new media communication activities,and puts forward corresponding constructive suggestions on this basis 。 The main contents of this paper are as follows:The first part is about the necessity of "Virtue" of the main body of new media communication.Based on the interpretation of the concept of new media communication subject,this paper analyzes the development trend and influence of new media,and then analyzes the challenges faced by the current "Virtue" of new media communication subject from four aspects: the concealment of subject identity,the popularization of body composition,the disorder of subject communication information and the complexity of media ecology.The second part analyzes the phenomenon and reason of the lack of "Virtue" of new media communication subject.The author thinks that the lack of "Virtue" of the main body of new media communication is mainly manifested in six aspects: the lack of national security awareness,the lack of humanistic care awareness,the lack of privacy and honor awareness,the lack of social responsibility awareness,the lack of copyright awareness,the lack of rational analysis awareness,and further analyzes the main reasons for the formation of these phenomena.The third part,the new media dissemination subject "Virtue" construction ponders.This paper puts forward four basic principles: the guiding principle of mainstream values,the principle of no harm,the principle of justice,and the principle of privacy protection.Then,based on the discussion of the basic "Virtue" that the new media communication subject should possess,it puts forward measures and suggestions to strengthen the "virtue" of the new media communication subject from the external and internal environment.
