| Nowadays,China’s cultural soft power is facing unprecedented opportunities.Regional culture,which is expected to achieve good development,must closely follow the pace of national cultural soft power construction.As an important part of the construction of cultural soft power,colleges and universities are carrying nation’s ideology and cultural values,and undertake the social function of external communication.If colleges and universities combine reginal cultural with education to create their own symbol,it will help them open up new prospects.The school of music and dance of South-central University for Nationalities is an important venue of inheriting Hubei traditional folk dance culture.It has been exploring new paths and directions for the inheritance and development of hubei folk dance under the leadership of the older generation of dance educators and the joint efforts of faculty members.The main purpose of this paper is to analyse the textbook Lian-xiang Folk Dance in Hubei,which was taken as a typical textbook in the school of music and dance of South-central University for Nationalities.From multiple perspectives of theory and practice,combined with interviews and questionnaires,the author tries to explore the advantages and feasibility of integrating regional culture into the teaching of folk dance in colleges and universities.The body of the paper is divided into five chapters.The first chapter introduced the general situation of "lian-xiang" in hubei province,and analyzes the cultural connotation of "lian-xiang" one by one from the areas,types,legends,costumes,props and other aspects.The second chapter is a basic introduction of the textbook Lian-xiang Folk Dance in Hubei,including the introduction of the editor’s experience and the structure of the textbook,and analysed the current implementation situation of the textbook.The third chapter expounded the significance of the textbook from the perspective of practice and cultural inheritance.The fourth chapter reported the current situation of the use of folk dance teaching materials in colleges and universities,and points out that the integration of regional culture into the teaching of folk dance will become a new trend.Chapter five put forward some suggestions on how to better integrate regional culture with folk dance teaching in colleges and universities. |
