The Study On The Predicate Of Paternal Relatives In Nanyang Dialect

The Nanyang dialect belongs to the Nanlu Area,which is a critical area of communication and contact between the southwest and northwest sub-dialects of the northern dialects,with transitional and border dialect characteristics.The kinship network followed by the Nanyang dialect patrilineal appellation language,although there were major changes in the structural elements and structural system of kinship appellation vocabulary compared to the ancient period,but the kinship appellation system carried and reflected by it can still be seen from its appellation system,especially the method of formulating kinship scope according to the core of the family to determine the five clothes is consistent with the Zhou ritual.Patrilineal kinship appellation is an important part of the whole kinship appellation system,the selection of Chinese patrilineal kinship appellation words can reveal the connection between patrilineal clan system,marriage system,social development and kinship appellation words in a certain regional dialect or social dialect group of Chinese.The ZhaoYing community,the site of this study,has a special geographic location,frequent population movements,and complex reasons for the influence of the indigenous relatives’ appellations.The Nanyang dialect has long been infused with Confucianism,and the local characteristics of the kinship vocabulary are strong,and the semantics and language choices of the kinship vocabulary are closely related to Central Plains culture.The author selects the Nanyang dialect patrilineal appellations as the object of this study,and uses the traditional dialectological field description method and sociolinguistic methods to describe,analyze,and compare the semantics of Nanyang dialect patrilineal appellations,in an attempt to provide a preliminary explanation of the semantic changes of patrilineal appellations in Nanyang dialect and their semantic mechanisms.The paper consists of six chapters,The first chapter briefly introduces the humanistic characteristics of Nanyang City and the reasons for the selection,and combs the research on the related kinship appellation language,clarifies the research method and corpus sources,and elaborateson the meaning and value of the selected topic.Chapter 2 provides an introduction to the characteristics of patrilineal appellations in the Nanyang dialect.The third chapter starts from the semantic level,based on the division of words by Mr.Yuan Yulin,describes and analyzes the typical and atypical patrilineal appellations among elders,equals and late generations,and provides a specific elaboration and analysis of the atypical appellations with obvious changes.The fourth chapter uses the linguistic research method of the discourse wheel to present the Nanyang dialect patrilineal appellations in a specific context,reflecting the rules and characteristics of the Nanyang people’s use of different patrilineal appellations.In Chapter 5,the trend of the change of patrilineal appellations in the Nanyang dialect is predicted,and it is found that the main reason for the change of patrilineal appellations in the Nanyang dialect is the development of the language itself,and the local conditions and language ethics in the Nanyang region also play a role in promoting it.Chapter 6 is the author’s summary of the full text and summary of views.
