By consulting the literature,watching the singer singing video,researching the theory of music aesthetics,visiting the composer and summing up my learning experience,it proves that the soul of the song "eighteen bends in the mountain road" is the unique ethnic and regional character of the Qifeng and Xiushui in the West Tujia people and the rough and bold,optimistic and cheerful,simple and unrestrained life customs This paper discusses the creative features of the song "eighteen bends in the mountain road",such as "life artistic conception" of the lyrics,"folk song style" of the musical form and "local color" of the melody It proves that the music charm expressed in the song "eighteen bends in the mountain road" is the ethnic character of Tujia people,the music state is the music rhythm of singing and dancing,and the singing characteristics of the unique ethnic and local techniques such as high-pitched tune,word-by-word and word-by-word This paper demonstrates the similarities and differences of the male and female singing song "eighteen corners of the mountain road".
