Preliminary Study Of Han Dynasty To Six Dynasties Cemeteries In Zhuanzhuanbao,Fuling,Chongqing

In 2012 and 2013,Chongqing Cultural Heritage Research Institute and Fuling District Museum jointly conducted two field excavations of Zhuanzhuanbao cemeteries to cooperate with the protection of cultural relics in the subsidence area of the Three Gorges Reservoir area.On the basis of publishing this batch of data,this paper performed a pilot study on 13 tombs excavated.On the basis of the different construction methods of the tomb,the tombs can be grouped into two types: the earthen pit tomb and the brick chamber tomb.Pit tombs can be grouped into two types according to whether there is a tomb passage or not.The brick tomb can also be divided into two types,type A and type B,based on the positions of its corridor with different characteristics.Zhuanzhuanbao cemeteries unearthed a wealth of burial objects,mainly pottery,bronze,and a small number of iron and silver.The 13 tombs excavated in Zhuanzhuanbao cemeteries can be divided into three periods,the first period is divided into the early stage and the late one,the first stage of the first period is about early Western Han Dynasty,the second stage of the first period late Western Han Dynasty;the second period is about late Eastern Han Dynasty;and the third period the Southern Dynasties.The tomb structures and burial objects of Zhuanzhuanbao cemeteries can be grouped into three types: central plains cultural factors,local cultural factors and middle reaches of the Yangtze river cultural factors.Among them,tombs of the first and second periods mostly belonged to central plains cultural factors,cultural factors in the middle reaches of the Yangtze river are only found in tombs during the Southern dynasties.The unique topography of Fuling make the layout of the cemeteries changed with it,but the regulations that decide the site testing of tombs can be found.Most of them are located on terraces along the banks of the Yangtze river with broad views,and some of them are built on slopes far away from the Yangtze river.
