| Since the 21st century, with the rapid development of the Internet, today’s society has entered the era of network information.Network language is emerging with the development of the network. To some extent,it reflects the spirit and the development and changes of social life, but it also contains vulgar and violent words. These words often appear in people’s online chat, and are used in daily life. They will exert a subtle influence on people’s cognition and various aspects, especially for Internet addicts who overuse the Internet. In this study,Internet addicts and non-internet addicts were taken as the research objects, and the priming effect of Internet violence words on their aggression was discussed by questionnaire, interview and behavior experiment. It consists of three parts:In the first part, the aggression characteristics of Internet addicts were studied by using the aggression questionnaire(BPAQ)and Internet addiction scale. The second part(including experiment 1 and experiment 2),experiment 1 used supra-threshold priming paradigm and words classification task to study the priming effect of supra-threshold Internet violence words on explicit aggression of Internet addicts.Experiment 2 used subliminal masking priming paradigm and words classification task to study the priming effect of subliminal Internet violence words on explicit aggression in Internet addicts. In both experiment 1 and experiment 2,a combined design of 2(subjects: Internet addiction group,non-internet addiction group)×2(priming stimulus: Internet violence words,Internet non-violence words)×2(target stimulus: attack words,non-attack words)was adopted. The third part(including experiment 3 and experiment 4),experiment 3 used supra-threshold priming paradigm and implicit association task(IAT)to study the priming effect of supra-threshold Internet violence words on implicit aggression of Internet add.In experiment 4,subliminal masking priming paradigm and implicit association task(IAT)were used to investigate the priming effect of subliminal Internet violence words on implicit aggression in Internet addicts. In both experiment 3 and experiment 4,a combined design of 2(subjects: Internet addiction group,non-internet addiction group)×2(words type: Internet violence words,Internet non-violence words)×2(task type: compatibility, incompatibility)was adopted.Based on three studies, the following conclusions can be drawn:(1)The aggression of college students is at a lower level, and the expression of aggression is mainly verbal aggression and hostility. There are significant differences in the dimensions of aggression, physical aggression and hostility between Internet addicts and non-internet addicts. There was no significant gender difference in aggression and its dimensions.(2)Under both supra-threshold and sub-threshold priming conditions,Internet violence words have a significant priming effect on the explicit aggressiveness of the subjects, and there is no difference in the priming effect between Internet addicts and non-internet addicts.(3)Internet violence words have a significant above-threshold priming effect on the implicit aggressiveness of the subjects.(4)The response time of both Internet addicts and non-internet addicts in the compatible task was significantly faster than that of the incompatible task, indicating that implicit attack was universal. |
