The most significant feature of the violent crime is the implementation of aggressivebehavior. Aggressive behavior is a kind of anti-social behavior, and it is influenced by manyfactors, both external social-cultural factors and individual cognitive, personality, emotion,and physiological processes. Many researches found emotions and individual aggression maybe an important predisposing factors that lead to violent crime. Studying of the emotionalcharacteristics of violent offenders and their differences with the general population, weexplore influence of emotions to the violent criminal’s implicit aggression, three studies aredesigned:(1) explore the emotional cognitive characteristics of violent criminals, as well asdifferences with ordinary people;(2) trying to experiment to find out the mood of the violentcriminals attentional bias;(3)explore emotions and implicit aggression relationship throughthe Implicit Association Test with affective priming.The key findings are as follows:(1) Generally speaking, the the the violent criminals emotional cognitive ability to beworse than the ordinary people.(2) violent criminals selective attention consistent with their own beliefs and cognitiveinformation that selective attention to points to be anger, while those for itself in terms of theextreme negative emotions (such as disgust, fear) take evasive.(3) different emotional state will affect implicit aggression of violent crime, pleasantemotional inhibition was implicit offensive, anger facilitation were implicit attack.violent crime’s emotional cognitive ability is low, so leave them vulnerable to errors ofjudgment and attributed to other people’s emotions and emotional experience, to a wrongunderstanding of the emotions of others behind; and they also exist attention bias to threatinformation (such as anger cues), in the environment of anger cues associated with aggressive,their aggression will be significantly enhanced, and therefore prone to aggressive behavior.
