Research On The Application Of Repeated Narrative In Animated Short Films

Short and meaningful type of works,how to quickly complete the narrative purpose and express the story theme in a very limited space is the key to the story telling of animation short films.There are many narrative techniques that can tell a good story efficiently,such as single linear narrative,polyphonic narrative,nonlinear narrative,etc.Among them,repetitive narrative is the most practical and the most easily ignored narrative technique.Repetition narration has not been discussed separately in the research of animation short film narration,and it is rarely mentioned in the live-action films and television works.Most of the time,it appears in the literary field.In this article,through inductive and deductive method and case analysis,in order to for domestic and foreign each big animation film festival and the award-winning animation short film as the research object,according to their camera language and story structure analysis,combined with the characteristics of the animated short narrative strategy,events on the story structure design,the construction of plot and the plot,setting of the sudden turn of study of repeat narrative analysis.Repetition narrative promotes the construction of plots through the different repetition and thematic repetition of events,thus forming expressive rhythm and narrative rhythm,which makes the structure extremely concise and the plots unitary.The fragmented and fuzzy narrative space makes the event design typical,with a high degree of generality,and at the same time,it can quickly build the most dramatic revealing suspense,and quickly complete the narrative strategy of animated short films.In addition to emotional subjects,the shorter the short animated short films are shown,the more obvious the advantages of repeated narration are,which can make the story structure concise,the theme clear,and the narrative rhythm smooth.Therefore,they are widely used in animated short films.
