Quantitative Analysis On Trends Of Domestic And Foreign Scientific Research On Ballroom Dancing

With increasing development and growth of Ballroom Dancing,relevant scientific research becomes more and more important.In order to further broaden the academic horizon on Ballroom Dancing,enrich related theories,and provide reference and inspiration for follow-up researches;reveal the problems of domestic Ballroom Dancing about research positioning and scientific research talents,aiming to improve the quality of papers and their influence on academic research of Ballroom Dancing:This article comprehensively sorted out the research context of Ballroom Dancing at home and abroad,analyzed the research strength,knowledge base,evolution trend and frontier hotspots of domestic and foreign scientific research in this field.Relevant literatures before 2018,were collected in the CNKI,CSSCI and Web of Science databases.With analysis on knowledge graph,which illustrated by using the information visualization software Cite Space,instead of conducting the study mode of mainly applying traditional qualitative research method.In addition,frontier bibliometric methods,such as citation analysis,co-citation analysis,word frequency analysis,and co-word analysis,have been utilized for quantitative analysis on research trends of Ballroom Dancing at home and abroad.The research results showed that:(1)the United States and the United Kingdom are the core countries in the field of foreign Ballroom Dancing research,the United Kingdom and Estonia and Italy have formed a highly influential cooperative group;(2)the foreign Ballroom Dancing research institutions have a high degree of cooperation and mainly for comprehensive universities,while the main positions for domestic Ballroom Dancing research are also universities,and high-yield and high-quality scientific research institutions are mainly sports colleges and normal colleges.(3)In addition to sports training,foreign Ballroom Dancing research is also related to medicine.The cross integration is very wide,which includes geriatric medicine,rehabilitation medicine,general internal medicine,neuroscience,orthopedics,physiology,etc.;domestic Ballroom Dancing research focuses more on basic research on Ballroom Dancing training,teaching,and development status.In recent years,there have been signs of cross-fusion of neurology in medicine,but multi-disciplinary comprehensive research has not yet become the mainstream direction.(4)Fusions of Chinese and Western culture have appeared in the forward position of Ballroom Dancing research at home and abroad.It is speculated that more Chinese elements will be injected into Ballroom Dancing.Based on the research findings in this paper,the following suggestions can be put forward for domestic Ballroom Dancing research:(1)Strengthen the Ballroom Dancing academic construction,cultivate a good Ballroom Dancing academic environment,build a more diversified sports academic atmosphere,and achieve academic construction from single to team,from Individual to collective.(2)Strengthening the construction of theoretical knowledge,cultivating the development of practical activities,consolidating the unified development of theory and practice,realizing the enrichment of theoretical knowledge,achieving the fruits of practice,and laying the foundation stone for theory to application.(3)Strengthen the combination of simulation prediction and experimental verification to improve the efficiency,accuracy and credibility of the research.(4)Strengthen the academic innovation of Ballroom Dancing,especially the original innovation and combined application of research methods.(5)Strengthen the cross-disciplinary integration of disciplines,so that Ballroom Dancing academics are no longer single,and integrate medical,physiology,psychology,information science and other disciplines,making it a multidisciplinary scientific research integration.(6)Increasing investment in Ballroom Dancing research to promote the comprehensive development of the discipline and provide a theoretical and experimental basis for the development of the discipline.(7)Strengthen the cultivation of Ballroom Dancing scientific research talents,so that this type of talents have diversified scientific research qualities,and inject more fresh blood into the development of Ballroom Dancing scientific research.(8)Strengthen the popularization and promotion of Ballroom Dancing science popularization and raise public participation awareness.
