Discuss On The Composition Characteristics Of Contemporary Meticulous Figure Painting

Meticulous figure painting is one of the most influential categories in Chinese painting.After baptism of long history,it absorbs the nutrients of many other art categories,including murals,lacquer painting,oil painting,print,sculpture,paper-cut,shadow puppet,illustration and so on.With the development of society,the development of meticulous figure painting has entered a new stage,and gradually become a comprehensive painting based on Chinese traditional culture.In addition to the increasing richness of artistic language,the diversity of forms formed by composition is also an important feature of meticulous figure painting in this era.This paper studies the current situation and significance of composition in the current meticulous figure painting creation by sorting out relevant literature and collecting examples of works,combining with their own creative experience.Specifically,it is divided into three parts to discuss the composition characteristics of Contemporary Meticulous Painting.The first part is an overview of the development of Chinese traditional composition theory and composition elements of Chinese painting,as well as the important features of composition concept in current painting practice.The second part,selected works in recent years’ art exhibitions and analyzes the artistic characteristics of works from the perspective of composition characteristics.The third part,according to my creative experience,analyzes the practical significance of modern composition theory for meticulous figure painting creation.
