Anthony Doerr(1973-)is a new generation of American natural novelist. The novel’s creation is mainly based on his own aesthetic experience and aesthetic vision,by revealing the human survival dilemma and ecological anxiety problems, exploring new aesthetic approaches and new methods of writing. The speech form of his novel, with its unique words, constitutes a social self-interpretation.The novel’s unique program makes the writing space gain tension, breaking through the traditional space model of form and content, nature and society. The dissertation analyzes his three works "The Shell Collector ","Memory Wall","All the light we can’t see",mainly by using ecological criticism, space theory and ecological aesthetics methods to express his novel Ecological space writing style, text criticism, and theoretical form. The writing space presented in his novel mainly includes three spaces:nature, wilderness(nature and culture),and spirit.First, the space of the novel contains a rich sense of nature and presents a literary aesthetic landscape of nature, life, and spirit.Secondly,he devoted himself to describing the image of land in natural space, especially the symbol of the transformation of natural local landscape into the wilderness.Thirdly,in the context of ecological civilization,he carried out ecological writing around the wilderness landscape, revealed the survival dilemma and ecological anxiety problems, and showed his attachment and recollection to the spiritual homeland.his spatial writing formed the feasibility experience of the novel itself, opened its new ecological sight and aesthetic vision, and reconstructed the natural, cultural, and spiritual writing discourse system in the global vision.
