The Study Of Jiucheng Palace Paintings And Techniques

As a branch of chinese painting,ruled-line painting has a long history,it also enjoys unique artistic value.In the process of artistic creation,the subject matter is the first step of creation.Among the many excellent ruled-line paintings,the palace has always been the most colorful object.Through a large number of historical documents and paintings,the imperial theme of emperor’s summer palace was adopted by painters through the ages.Among the themes of many summer palaces,Jiucheng palace,the most famous palace in Tang Dynasty,is naturally the object that many boundary painters strive to perform first,and it has also become an excellent choice to study boundary painting.This paper focuses on the theme of summer palace,analyzes and studies the landscape from the perspective of painting practitioners.Based on the historical research of Jiucheng palace and the comparison of related works of Jiucheng palace in the past dynasties,this paper focuses on the analysis of the Jiehua techniques in Guozhongshu’s "summer palace map",combining with his own learning and practical experience of Jiehua,so as to have a deeper understanding of this declining painting subject,help the future study and practice of Jiehua,and further strive to inherit and develop this ancient painting section.
