The Development Of Dengshiru’s Seal Script Comparing With Liyangbing’s

Xiao Zhuan developed from Li Yangbing in Tang Dynasty to the early Qing Dynasty.Those who were good at Zhuan script were conformed to the rules.Because of the attack along the lines,Li Yangbing’s“yuzhuzhuan”cage had been hard to get out for a long time.Since the Qing Dynasty,with the rise of the concept of Stele Study,the desire of calligraphers for change has been on the rise.As the most pioneering successful example of the practice of Stele Study in the Qing Dynasty,Deng Shiru is how to learn Li Yangbing’s Xiaozhuan and bring forth the old and bring forth the new on the basis of it,thus forming the “Deng school” style of writing,which is worth learning and thinking by scholars.From the perspective of Deng Shiru’s inheritance and development of Li Yangbing’s Xiaozhuan,this paper focuses on Deng Shiru’s Xiaozhuan and how he made bold changes and innovations in the traditional seal script,and then discusses Deng’s position and significance in the history of calligraphy.On the basis of collecting a large number of documents of Deng Shiru and Li Yangbing,the author divides the article into three parts: the first part introduces the process of Deng Shiru’s learning Li Yangbing’s Xiaozhuan,and then infers Deng Shiru’s thinking after learning Li Yangbing’s Xiaozhuan.The second part analyzes Deng Shiru’s development and innovation of Li Yangbing’s Xiaozhuan.The third part discusses the historical position and significance of Deng Shiru’s Xiaozhuan,describes the unique atmosphere of Deng Shiru’s Xiaozhuan and the significance of the author’s study of Deng Shiru.The last part is the conclusion,which summarizes the thesis and points out the main idea.
