Deng Shiru, Wu Rangzhi, And Zhao Zhiqian Are The Aesthetics And Practical Experience Of Xiaoyan

After the unification of the six kingdoms,Emperor Qin Shi Huang put up some measures beneficial to the unification of the country,including “the policy of Qin to unify the writing system”,to consolidate his ruling over the country.He fixed small seal script as a unified character.Then small seal script started developing.Since the appearance of small seal script,it is famous in the form of “Yuzhuzhuan”(a calligraphic style on ancient coins)by Li Si of Qin Dynasty and Li Yangbing of Tang Dynasty.Later experts of small seal script were hardly impossible to get rid of the form of Li Si and Li Yangbing until Deng Shiru started to reform small seal script in Qing Dynasty,making it easier to write without destroying its artistry.The experts of small seal script after Deng Shiru were all influenced by him,especially Wu Rangzhi and Zhao Zhiqian.Later they developed their own styles.The author has been writing seal script for many years and it’s difficult for the author to break out the fence of Wu Rangzhi.As a result,the author analyzed the forming procedure of the style of Wu Rangzhi and compared the style of Wu Rangzhi with the style of Deng Shiru,his teacher,and the style of Zhao Zhiqian.Through imitating works of them,the author put up her own feelings and studied the styles of them and the reason,to enlighten calligraphy learners in the future.
