Research On The Application Of Synthetic Materials In Computer 2D Animation

Animation has only been around for more than 100 years,It’s a relatively young art form.Over the past 100 years,a variety of animation types and creation methods have been developed.The application of various materials is a very important research field in animation creation.At present,the application of comprehensive materials is mainly focused on three-dimensional animation and other production process forms of animation,such as wooden puppet animation,clay puppet animation,and puppet animation,etc.However,the application in 2d hand-drawn animation is relatively few.This paper mainly studies the integrated creation of animation: Based on the application of materials in 2D animation,Using the creation concept of three-dimensional illustration as a reference,studies the combining effect of textures,the color of paper materials,wood materials,clay materials,metal materials and other materials with two-dimensional animation.It analyzes its advantages and disadvantages in content expression and emotional expression,studies the advantages and disadvantages of different materials in expressing time and space,the style of comprehensive materials and how to perfectly integrate color-matching with two-dimensional animation,and try to use different materials to express reality,memories,and dreams in animation.The practical results of this project are finally displayed through an animated short film of about 5 minutes.The film focuses on the growth of children with birth defects and disabilities.Through this film,we hope to guide the audience to pay attention to the group of congenital malformation and disabled children and promote the idea of cherishing life and not abandoning children.Through the author’s previous experiments and short film creation research,it can be seen that the application of comprehensive materials in two-dimensional animation is not limited to plane drawing and mapping.The cooperative expressive force of real shooting materials inmaking three-dimensional scenes and two-dimensional characters also has a unique charm.Compared with plane two-dimensional animation,the overall effect increases the sense of space and liveliness.In the short film,the materials are not only used as background and materials to present a contrast to the atmosphere and increase the viewing experience,but also to convey the creator’s feelings and thoughts through their own characteristics and texture.They also serve to distinguish different time and space,which is a very important part of the short film.
