The Classical Research Of Zhang Chengzhi’s The Black Steed

Ever since zhangchengzhi published his novel black beauty in October,it has attracted the attention of critics and readers with the themes of grassland,love of people and the conflict between two civilizations.In the nearly 40 years since its publication,black beauty has become a classic due to a number of external factors besides the artistic quality of its text.Taking the external factors in the process of classicalization of zhangchengzhi’s black beauty as the research object,this paper makes a multi-level and all-round comprehensive exploration from the perspectives of effect history,interpretation history and communication history,in order to discover the role of external factors in the classicalization of the novel.The introduction part introduces the high starting point of the first issue,and sorts out the research on classic and classicalized whole,and the current research overview of black beauty.The first chapter studies the selected publication of black beauty,and finds that the selected publication of the novel is the first link of the classicization of black beauty,which expands the dissemination power of the novel,provides value-added capital for the novel,gains more common readers,and provides a solid foundation for the following classics.The second chapter studies the critical interpretation of black beauty,and from three representative criticisms in different periods,it finds that the classic criticism of black beauty can help black beauty.The third chapter discusses the history of literature,and sorts out the narration of black beauty in the history of comprehensive literature and the history of ethnic minorities.Through comparison,the author finds out the different bias of the two literary histories,and the comprehensive literary history is the biggest push to make the novels become the classic works.The history of literature as a general subject knowledge system reader and teaching materials has played a role in consolidating the status of classics and shaping the classic consensus.Chapter four,from the perspective of literary anthology,studies the situation that black beauty has been selected for publication many times in selected textbooks,official anthology and individual anthology,compares the changes of black beauty’s status in different anthologies(editions),and thus shows its classicization process and status.Chapter five studies the cross-media and cross-cultural communication of black beauty.Starting from the diversified artistic adaptation and translation,and taking time as a clue,it is found that the scope of influence of the adaptation and translation of black beauty is gradually expanding,and the forms of adaptation are increasingly rich.There are radio plays,comic books,dramas,films,etc.,which expand the scope of dissemination,attract more types of audiences,and enrich the forms of communication.The translation of black beauty is the promotion and support of the national power,which makes it go from "Chinese classic" to the world.
