Research On The Influence Of Military Film And Television On College Students’ Willingness To Join The Army

The report of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China pointed out that "flourish and develop socialist literature and art,produce more masterpieces of eulogizing the Communist Party,the motherland,the people,and heroes." Military film and television have existed more than 70 years since the founding of the People’s Republic of China with the growth of one generation after another,they have become an indispensable part of public life,and have played an important and subtle role in the entire society,especially the university community.This paper mainly studies the social functions of military film and television and the influence of military film and television on the mind and behavior of college students by means of literature method,questionnaire survey method and individual interview method.As a type of drama,military film and television dramas shoulder the task of promoting mainstream culture and social awareness.With the prosperity and development of military film and television,the college student group has accepted a large number of mainstream concepts conveyed by movies and TV dramas.Film and television culture have become their vital and important dependency in life and learning.Military film and television have had a profound impact on university students’ will,beliefs,personality molding and other aspects.At the same time,in the context of difficult recruitment in colleges and universities,military film and television can also increase college students’ understanding of military camps and have a positive impact on college students’ choice of joining the army.By sorting out domestic and foreign scholars’ research on military film and television,combined with interviews and questionnaire analysis of military film and television works on university students,we can find that there are currently impacts in multiculturalism,a large number of military film and television works but lack of quality,and university students’ insufficient understanding of military film and television issues,then military film and television cannot played an active role.These issues require the joint efforts of creators,propagandists,and supervisors of military film and television works,and adopt corresponding countermeasures and measures to strengthen the creative level and dissemination of military film and television works,so as to effectively exert the positive impact of military film and television and work on college students to promote them comprehensive development.
