Chinese traditional culture has a long history,extensive and profound,and each region or nation has its own unique regional culture.Culture is the name card of a region,it carries the deep connotation of this region.Therefore,ganzhou government attaches great importance to the inheritance and dissemination of regional culture in gannan.In the context of cultural self-confidence,culture should not be perceived in traditional ways,but in more diversified forms in People’s Daily life.The development of illustration from the earliest books to advertisements,film and television posters,packaging,game character setting,game built-in art scene design,and now the network,mobile phone platform of virtual goods and related visual applications,all reflect the important position and development prospect of illustration in today’s society.Based on the illustration design as the carrier,in combination with the actual situation of gannan regional culture,further research and discussion on its artistic charm in the illustration design and application,with the help of visual communication and the theory of visual culture at the same time,analysis in the present cultural context,gannan regional culture how to better in illustration design reflects the local characteristics,explain its existence value in illustration design.Finally,the author selected the most representative hakka culture,red culture and song culture among the numerous cultures in southern gannan to create illustrations,and applied the illustrations created in daily necessities needed by the public.Through the application of gannan regional culture in illustration design,we can not only preserve and inherit gannan regional culture,but also keep up with the development of The Times.
